CLASSES
PRIVATE ENGRAVING CLASSES
I offer one on one private engraving classes. The classes will cover the fundamentals of scrollwork, design layouts, graver sharpening, design transfer, cutting a design, along with a wealth of tips and tricks. Students will gain access to a wealth of resources, including information on where to obtain engraving tools and additional learning materials. Students will get to work with various engraving tools including Lindsay, GRS, even an opportunity to try out hammer and chisel. This way students get to choose which type of tools work best for them.
Students can always reach out to me after class for further assistance or questions related to the topics discussed during the course. The courses are as follows:
One Day Course: $1050 Two Day Course $2050 Three Day Course $2850
Each course requires a non refundable $500 deposit to secure a date. The class will be held at my home studio, in Hanford ,CA. They run from 10a.m.-5p.m. Lunch will be provided. Please contact me at 559-852-6170 for available dates and to get signed up.
ONLINE CLASSES
I offer an online one on one engraving class. Students will have a 3-4 hour crash course on how to sharpen a graver, transfer a design, scrollwork, and provide insights into the necessary tools and where to acquire them. I will offer valuable resources and educational materials to enhance your learning experience. Including recommended reading materials, online communities and websites dedicated to engraving. We will have Q&A session and an online demonstration to provide a comprehensive learning experience. Students can reach out to me after class for any further assistance or questions related to the topics discussed during the course. This class is $500. A nonrefundable deposit of $100 is required to lock in a date. If student only wants an hourly online class, the hourly rate is $150. GROUP CLASSES
I offer a class in a small group setting. These are random times throughout the year. I will post dates, and information as they become available. These will range from a one, two or three day course. Prices will vary by dates and courses.

2 Day Derby Cover Engraving Class
I will be teaching a 2 Day Derby Cover Engraving Class on the weekend of March 8-9, at my home studio in Hanford, CA. This will be a semi private class with 3 spots available. We will spend 2 days designing and engraving a motorcycle derby cover. I will provide all of the tools for the project, including the derby cover. When derby cover is completed, student can keep it, or even sell it if they wish. The cost of this class will be $1450. A non refundable deposit of $500 is required to lock in a spot. Lunch will also be provided, if any dietary restrictions, please let me know as early as possible.
2 Day Introduction to Automotive/Motorcycle Engraving Class
I’m teaching a 2 Day Introduction to Automotive/Motorcycle Engraving Class on the weekend of April 26-27, at my home studio in Hanford, Ca.
This will be a semi private class, with 3 spots available. The cost is $1,250 per student, a non refundable deposit of $500 is required to lock in your spot.
We will be covering how to draw basic scrollwork, graver sharpening, design and design transfer. There will also be plenty of hands on engraving time, and I’ll be there to help guide the students every step of the way.
I will provide all of the tools for class, show students how to use them and where to source them.
Lunch will also be provided, if any student has any dietary restrictions, please let me know as early as possible.
2 Day Spyderco Engraving Class
On the weekend of May 17-18, I will be teaching a 2 Day Spyderco Engraving Class at my home studio in Hanford, California.
This will be a small semi-private class with only 2-3 students. For our class project, we will be a syderco knife. I will provide the Spyderco, and have all of the tools necessary to complete our project. This class is sure to be a fun one, all you have to do is show up. You will be able to keep, give away or even sell the completed project. The cost is $1,450 per student, a non refundable deposit of $500 is required to lock in your spot.
